Upgrading from 7.5 to 11 on different mac

Hi all - I’m new to the Forum, apols if this has been asked before…

I’m (finally) upgrading my macbook pro so I can run Cubase 11. Up till now I’ve been using 7.5 on an older macbook. My question is… if I’m buying the Cubase 11 upgrade download, will I already have to have 7.5 installed on my new macbook? I’m guessing the answer is yes, in which case I’m going to have to hunt around for the installation CDs :frowning:

But thought I’d check here first in case I don’t need to do that.
