I bought and activated Cubase Elements 14 early September 2025. I believe there is a a free upgrade to Cubase 15 for those who purchased after 8th October 2024. Is this correct? If so, how do you upgrade to version 15, I have just looked on the Download Manager but the only upgrade I found which I have now downloaded was for Cubase 14.

You will see the price for your country by clicking the buy now button and selecting the correct upgrade. (Your country being located by your IP)

This update drop has caught me off guard. I was about to purchase 14 through splice on their rent to own scheme, I’ve been using 10.5 and decided it was time to upgrade myself. But now 15 has been released, I’m reluctant to do so, although there is no rent to own scheme for 15.
If I go for 14, does anyone think I’ll be able to upgrade to 15 easily?
I am using version 14. Sadly I bought it too early for the grace period. But I will be upgrading to version 15 in the near future. I was going to upgrade element to element but because elements doesn’t have the features I like I will have to upgrade to Artist earlier than expected.
You could run the trial of 15 if you’re in a hurry and Splice will presumably have updated to the latest version before it expires.
That would have been a good idea. Instead, I just went for 14. I don’t need the latest version tbh. I do like the look of the a.i stem splitter that comes with 15 though.
Supposedly (though according to AI so I wouldn’t bet on it) Splice activations are still eligible for grace period so you might just get 15 anyway.

I’ll see. I’m signed up for 14 on the trial period with it moving onto full rent to own for 14 afterwards. Maybe at the time the trial ends I contact splice and find out. Thanks for the information mate.
