Upgrading from Cubase 4 to both 5 and 6.

I have been happily running C4 for a long time, but I’m about to get the upgrade to C6 - looking forward to it!

I’d also like to run C5 for some projects, since one of my clients uses this version. What would be the best way to approach the installation of both C5 and C6, on the same W7pro computer as my current C4? I’m thinking:

  1. Install the C6 upgrade, and do the license registration, of course.
  2. Download any later versions of C6 that are available.
  3. Download a version of C5 and install that in its own directory.

Anyone have a better suggestion?

Thanks,

All Cubases are independent of each other. I have SX3, 4, 5, and 6 all installed, both 32bit and 64bit of 4, 5 and 6. No problems. The 6 licence runs them all.

Thanks. I also see from another post that simple projects created in C6 may be able to be opened in C5, which would make life even simpler for me.

C5 opens C6’s CPRs without a problem…i use C4, C5, and C6 on the same machine, all 32 Bit.
