Upgrading from Cubase 6

Is there anyway to upgrade from Cubase 6 but not fully to 9 but to 8?

If you find someone who still sells a Cubase 8 version: yes - otherwise: no
But you can run Cubase 8 with a Cubase 9 license if that helps anything.
