Hello all,
I just upgraded from v. 2 Pro to v. 3.5 Pro, and I had a quick question. When I downloaded the sounds package, there appeared to be no installer in the folder. After I downloaded both the installer and the sounds, I ran the application installer. Is this how it is supposed to work, and will all of the sounds work now? I couldn’t find any documentation, and I can’t remember the process from when I last installed v.2.
Edit: I just opened up a new project and there seems to be no sounds assigned automatically in Halion.
Thanks in advance!
Actually, it seems that only Choir sounds in new projects aren’t working…I can’t seem to find the new Choir patches in Halion. Like I said in my previous post, I didn’t see an installer in the sounds file, and when I clicked on the Halion application in that folder, it said it was already installed.
If you’re updating from Dorico Pro 2 to Dorico Pro 3.5, you do indeed need to download and install the full sounds installer. Here are direct links to the Windows and Mac installers:

Thanks Daniel.
Ended up figuring out that the problem was that I hadn’t unzipped the folder, so the installer didn’t work properly and wasn’t labeled as usual. Ended up finding it, though.
