Upright Bass not in rhythm section (for chord symbols)

Hi folks,

It seems that the Upright Bass doesn’t belong to the “rhythm section” instruments family, meaning that if I select “Chord Symbols > Show for Rhythm Section Instruments” for the player holding the bass, the chords won’t show up in the score… it works well with Contrabass / Double bass but I’d rather use the Upright samples for the big band scores I’m doing.
Can I change that somewhere ? In the meantime there’s a workaround using “Show in Chord Symbols region” and drawing a region on the entire staff.

If the player is only holding a bass, the obvious solution is to tell that player to show chord symbols for all instruments.

If the player is holding other instruments, then yes, chord symbol regions are probably the way forward.
