I put my Shure SM57 on my new UR22C and I have to turn the gain to full and still the volume is a bit low for voice.
Haven’t tried yet with my guitar amp, but it’s unusable for voice.
Any tips? Do I need a seperate mic preamp?

The UR is capable of handling a SM57 for sure (pun intended).
Did you check the input gain on your UR AND the input track in Cubase as well? Are you using a balanced cable with XLR? Turning the input gain up to the max on the UR22 will introduce unwanted noise - you don’t want to do that.
Yes, that’s my problem, when the gain is max, I get noise.
I checked the gain both on UR22C and dspMixFx.
Not on Cubase yet, was playing around with voice conference as I had the mic.
