It seems you have audacity still running. I don’t know whether the UR12 interface is ASIO multi client capable. Have you tried closing audacity and the restarting cubase?
yes, unfortunately the issue began before I tried audacity. Audacity was just to check whether it was a hardware or software issue. It used to give me 4 different options upon opening Cubase, including UR12 Interface…
