I’ve got a new computer (Window 11) and since then I’ve been facing a problem that my UR12 is not waking up properly from sleep.
I’ve changed a lot of settings (the computer cannot turn off USB, the power plan doesn’t affect the USB etc.), but nothing seems to work. A restart works every time, but that’s not a good solution.
I’ve reinstalled the Yamaha driver many times, but it didn’t change anything. Any ideas?
I’ve read that the BIOS might be a problem, but I don’t know how to deal with it, and I didn’t need to on the old computer.
Do you have a power supply connected to the UR12, or is it just USB power?
I guess you have tried to connect it to different USB ports. What happens if you simply disconnect the USB cable, instead of a reboot, and reconnect it after some seconds?
Does it come back in that case?
Modern computer can change a ton of parameters in the BIOS, but I haven’t changed anything in my machine, because there was no problem. So I have no idea where to look here, except for settings related to USB hardware.
