UR12 OSX Sierra computer crash

Hello,

I have an UR12 with driver version 1.9.8 and am using this with my mid-2012 MacBook Pro running 10.12, and when I unplug the interface from my computer, the laptop crashes and uncontrolled restarts.

So I do not always keep my US12 connected to my laptop until I am doing some editing, and plug the UR12 directly into my laptop (not through USB buh), and am not having any problems until I unplug the USB cable from the computer. Once I unplug this, the computer will immediately restart.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was having this sort of problem.

Yep, I have this exact problem. Kernel panics upon unplugging.
I don’t suppose you found any solution to this problem?

Hey there frente, I installed the latest 1.9.10 version of the OSX driver, and haven’t seen this problem again.

Hi mate, so you just got the latest version of Sierra and that fixed it? Or a different driver?

So I needed to go to the 1.9.10 version found on the Steinberg website, and that was all i needed to do to fix any crash issues I had once I upgraded to Sierra. And it is still stable.
