I am a newbie. So be gentle with me.
I just got my US12, and plugged it into my Mac Mini without installing the included drivers. it was recognized right away, and appears to functional in GarageBand - I haven’t actually recorded anything yet, but the sounds coming from my Mic are moving the needle in GB and coming out of the outputs.
Will I have problems recording without the drivers? Latency? Other issues? Or is it fine for me to just use it as is?
Note: I also plan to use with my iPad, and have gotten the iPad to recognize it as well, even with my cheap CHinese knock off CCK ($2 shipped). Neat stuff!
