i seem to be having an issue connecting the ur22 to my laptop. i installed the “tools for ur22” from the disc by following the directions included in the box (install software, then connect device). unfortunately though, the white light on the front just continues to flash and the ASIO driver isnt being recognized by cubase. Also, if i open the Steinberg yamaha usb driver program, the ur22 doesnt show anywhere and there are no options i can change. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i was really hoping to get started on recording. I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers many times, and updated to 1.7.3 (compatible with vista 32bit). no change whatsoever.
I have a dell inspiron 1720 running on windows vista 32bit.
