My mic doesn’t work (which goes in recording pack).
I select “Yamaha Steinberg USB audio” driver, select mono 1, enable 48 voltage, turn gain knob to the mid position.
I can hear myself in phones, can see volume bars moving in Cubase while knocking on the mic. But when I press start recording I see flat line on recording line.
I tried to reinstall firmware (to 1.04v, released feb 15, 2017), update tool says it is up to date.
Tried to reinstall Yamaha ASIO USB driver (to 2.04, released sept 20, 2020).
What’s wrong?
Previously I worked OK with this kit about 3 years ago. Troubles started when I reinstalled OS and Cubase with all moving license labor.
