I have a precious cassette tape and only an old Walkman to play it on. I want to record the tape into Cubase via my UR22C. Can I plug a stereo out from the walkman, connected to two jacks into the two inputs of my UR22C – or will I damage the UR22C?
That should work just fine. Use a stereo input bus to a stereo audio track. Observe the input signal and adjust it to your liking. Start with the gain knobs down and slowly increase while monitoring to get your levels correctly adjusted.
