UR22C not connecting

Hi, I hope someone can help me figure this out.

I recently rented a UR22C to use with my PC (I’m running Windows 11). I’ve downloaded and installed the latest drivers, and when I plug the UR22C into my USB, the power light is on and the USB light is flashing continuously.

It seems like my PC isn’t detecting it though. If I go into Settings in Windows, the UR22C doesn’t come up, and if I go on the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver program, the pulldown for Device is greyed out.

The USB cable I got goes to the 5V DC connection on the back of the UR22C, not the one for USB 3.0. That seems weird to me, but that’s all I got from the place I rented the UR22C from and they assured me that this should work fine.

The micro USB is for power only, so you do need a usb-c cable to connect to the computer.

Yeah that makes sense to me. I’m gonna have to go back to the store i rented from and see if they have the missing cable.
