Ur22mk2 glitches, sound dropout on Mac mini m1

Hi,

I have sound glitches with the UR22mkII audio interface on Mac mini m1 Monterey 12.5.1.

I installed [Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver 3.1.1 driver for mac.]

The audio interface works fine on Windows and Ubuntu.

Any advice would help?

I had the very same thing using Windows 10 Pro. I found that if you use a USB2 lead it solves the problem as I don’t think it can handle USB3. I even bought a new USB3 cable to make sure.

I did tested with USB2 type A to B cable and type C to B, still did not work.

I found the issue. My mac mini with Ventura OSX defaults to 48kHz, but Steinberg ur22mkii defaults to 44.1 kHz.

You have to go to Audio Midi Set Up and change it to 48kHz
