I connected Steinberg UR22 MK2 to my Ipad and I have a mic in it (Rode NT-1A). When I record my saxophone I can hear my sax from both headphone speakers. But after recording (tested with Tomplay and Ipad Voice Memo) the sax is heard only in mono from my headphones. If I connect the mic to the left mic line I can hear the music only from the left speaker and if it is connected to the right line I can hear the music only from the right speaker of my headphones. Could someone help me with this problem?

This is because the UR22 MkII will give you a mono mix when set fully to “Input”, but if you record onto a stereo track in your software it will be eiter left (if mic is in input 1) or right (input 2).
So you should make sure that you are recording onto a mono track (No idea if that is possible to set in Voice memo, and I dont know the software Tomplay either, but you have the Garageband where that is possible).
