UR242 - Recording audio with glitches when played back?

I record direct into Goldwave and when I play it back its sounds there is not enough RAM to process it 100%. When I playback the audio recorded its also does it but I am unsure if its in the recording or the playback from the UR242 itself?

I am running Windows 8, 8GB of RAM and heaps of HD space.

It is doing my head in, any ideas what may be causing?

I’m sorry for the trouble. Do you have the same issue in Cubase AI? In Cubase, go to Devices, Device Setup, VST Audio System. What is your Input Latency? If you select the ASIO driver on the left, then choose Control Panel and raise your buffer size for the UR242, do you have the same issue?
