UR28M and MacOS Sequoia

The Sequoia compatibility update page has said that the UR28M was undergoing testing. It has not been updated since the 24th of November https://helpcenter.steinberg.de/hc/en-us/articles/21304823501202-macOS-Sequoia-macOS-15-Steinberg-product-compatibility

Has anyone tried to used a UR28M with Sequoia, and if so, does it work?

For the UR28M, the installer wants me to install Rosetta on my M4 MacBook running Sequoia, which I am not going to do. I am now looking at a variety of other class compliant products on the market, of which there are plenty. Unfortunately, few match the price performance ratio of the UR28M (4in/6out for under $1000). But nonetheless, there are some great options which I had not seen before.

Hate to give up my UR28M. Love this unit. And I hate to have to spend $2000. But Yamaha/Steinberg needs to step up soon, or I’m moving on.

Has anyone here installed the new drivers for ur28m?
Have you gone into recovery mode and changed security settings as described by Steinberg? Is this safe in general regarding OS security?
Got a new mac mini and want to connect my old ur28m.
thanks

My ur28m is never detected from the OS

I did the recovery mode thing and received as well the message during the installation of the driver and accepted it in the security settings

ur28m is plugged and is always not detected by the OS

Did restarts, tried different USB ports…

iMac M1, Yamaha USB driver 317 on Sequoia 15.6

Please let me know if you have a solution

I reinstalled Sequoia today and formatted the hard drive.

After that, I reinstalled everything according to the instructions, and it worked as documented, but the UR28m is still not recognized.

The UR28m works on another PC (Windows OS).

God help me or somebody else?

Now I again power off and on the ur28m and tried different ports and NOW it works/is detected

Don’t ask me why but finally I’m happy - I keep you guys posted if I find the reason
