I’ve just received the UR44 I purchased from Amazon and there’s a white noise/hissing coming out of the main output when set at a high level even having all of the input gain knobs all the way down. When I turn up any of the input knobs over 60% the noise gets noticeably louder. This is my very first interface so I can’t really tell if this is normal or not. Do you guys think this is clearly a case of a defective unit?
You probably fixed your problem by now, but are you listening through headphones or speaker monitors? If speaker monitors, make sure you’re using balanced 1/4in cables.
