I just bought the UR44, hoping to use it as an ASIO device for music production under Windows and for casual use on both Windows and Linux.
This almost works fine - I can use all the IO when running in CC mode on Linux and through ASIO on Windows. What doesn’t work is all but the first two inputs and outputs when running without ASIO on Windows.
I’ve read a few posts on this topic and it seems like this is a limitation of the driver (a terrible one, I might add), but is there really no workaround for this, since it works fine on Linux and with ASIO?
Also I noticed that in the sound control panel Windows calls the device “Řádek”, which is a Czech word for “row”. That’s just weird.
