Hi guys,
I’m planning on upgrading from focus rite 18i8 interface to the Steinberg ur824.
One thing my focusrite does that I love is that once setting up the pc software the once, I can then turn off the pc and leave on the interface and it will automatically divert the audio from my instruments to the speakers or monitors.
So basically I could hear my instruments in my studio even though I’m not actively recording. And don’t have the pc on.
I don’t know if this is a feature of all interfaces or whether the UR824 would do this?
Would really appreciate advice! I’m dying to buy this thing!
