I have made a composition with small fragments of music of different length.
Now I have to make parts for the 8 musicians playing the piece and they need the music as soon as possible.
I want to have as few page turns as possible, so I need to have several flows on one page. I tried to change the music frames but then the flow titles start to collide. I just want a page break function that works reliably, but I can’t seem to make any use of the system brake and frame brake functions. When I reset the layout nothing happens.
Any help is much appreciated!
Example: How do I make a page break before “5. Imagine…” in the part?
And again before “6. Digital Pitchshifts”? Without messing up the flow titles.
You have very odd spacings with the flow headings… I’m wondering if you’ve been messing up manually with stuff… If it’s extremely urgent, you can send it to me, so that I fix it (for free) in the next half an hour. Anyway, if you want us to give you a precise advice, we will need to see the file
Anything else is second guessing, and… it’s long and painful.
There actually is an override on page 5 — you removed the flow heading for flow 7, and I don’t know why. Still investigating though. No manual spacing changes…
Edit: changing this setting to all parts might make things better
And I actually made it bigger to a certain point in that piano/comp. part using flow heading changes to accomodate for the staff text.

Thank you again for helping me. It is true, I did make some frame overrides for the flow headings. Any way to reset these? When I press reset layout the don’t move and are still on top of the music in some places. I could do it manually though, of course, but let me know if you have suggestions
