Hi all,
A friend of mine has bought the UR22-C and he got Cubase AI 14 free of charge.
The UR22-C is working fine with Cubase AI 14 except for the Headphone output not working at all.
Yesterday I went to my friend home to try to understand where the problem is.
If I disconnect the Output Jacks (that go to the Studio Speakers) then the Headphone output starts working just fine.
I have experience with other Audio equipment (Presonus 24C, Forcusrite Scarlet 8i6 and 4i4) and for all of them the Headphone output is working simultaneously with the Speaker’s Output.
So, I need your help here to understand how to solve the problem.
Many thanks in advance for your kind help.
Best regards

This is the software that provides the correct ASIO driver along with the DSP mix which must be separatly activated.
Please make sure that you picked the right driver under Studio and that the routing is correct in the DSP mix.
Thanks a lot,
I’m not sure that the TOOLS for UR-C has been installed.
And not even for the dsp one.
I have downloaded them right now.
In the nest days I will go to my friend home and install them both if not yet done.
In case the problem will remain, I will get back to you.
Hi all,
Based on my previous answer:
It is not clear to me if I really have to install the dspMixFx_remote_bridge other than the Tool for UR-C.
I suppose that the signal routing will be handled by the Tool for UR-C.
Am I right?
If not please explain what the dspMixFx is supposed to do on the signal flow.
Many thanks.
And sorry if the questions are stupid enough.
Nah, you don’t need the bridge thingy unless you want to control the tools via iPad etc. If you should feel like it you could do it later on. For now, I would focus on the Tools only.
Btw: No question is stupid, just ask away! That’s the purpose of a user driven forum. You got to start somewhere, absolutely NO shame in that!
Thanks a lot for you kind answer.
I’ll go to my friend one of these days and I will install the Tool for UR-C only.
I will read it manual too to understand how to get the proper configuration.
Best regards
