can I use an adapter to interface with a usb dongle for Cubase 10 into a new smaller usb c port on my new laptop running windows 11. I have searched the steinberg website but have found no reference to using an adapter. I would like to know it can work to activate Cubase 10 before I buy one.

Normally no problem, it depends on the adapter.
A USB hub would be another possible solution.
