USB dongle consolidation / backup before server closes down

Hi

I have two USB dongles with different licences on each. Now that the physical licence system is being closed down in a few months, can anyone confirm if I can put all the licences on the same dongle, and then back that up on the other dongle, which could then be used in the event of damage to the first?

I’ve also got licences on the online system, but would prefer to keep the physical ones as is.

No that is not possible, you can not have two dongles with identical licenses.

You can move the licenses between the dongles, but you cannot copy them. This means that you can combine all your licenses on one USB eLicenser until the license server is shut down.
However, it is not possible to back up the licenses on the other eLicenser!

If you want to upgrade one of the old licenses on the eLicenser, you must do so before the shutdown date.

No, you cannot make a backup. The licenses can be available on one USB-eLicenser only.
