Yes, I read the sticky about setting up a USB mic, but the thing is, it used to recognize it. I’ve changed no settings in Cubase, and I know the mic is connected because Audacity, Skype, and a host of other programs recognize it as connected and record audio via the mic. Why won’t Cubase pick up the mic it used in the project in which it used it?
Hi and welcome,
Hard to guess. Could you go thought your settings (Device Setup; VST Connections > Inputs; Input settings of the Audio Track), and describe it, please?
Is this what you mean?
Thank you for the screenshot.
This settings seems to be wrong to me. If you are using USB Mic, I would expect something else here. This looks like you are using your internal Audio Device, not the USB Mic.
Select your USB Mic as an ASIO Driver in the Devices > Device Setup > VST Audio System, please.
