Hi, I have set up a USB microphone (its a Sampson C01U). I have set up the drivers and it records vocals OK, but here’s the problem - It also records the VST instruments as well, even when I’m using headphones and the recording room is silent??? The only way to record a crisp vocal is to mute all the VST’s, but then I can’t hear the music and that’s no good. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? I’m no IT wizard and I just can’t get my head around why it’s merging vocals with all the other inputs. Please help… I have now devoted four days to trawling through manuals and YouTube tutorials, I know I have set up the microphone correctly.
