Use 2 computers( mobile mac and station windows)

I have to carry Mac Book Pro for mobile working with Cubase Pro 9. Also, I have windows 10 at my home for working with Cubase Pro 9 as well.
The question is can we use USB Dongle for windows at home? but on mac without usb dongle since lost and damaged concerned. Both of machine use in different time. The objective is to avoid lost dongle.

You could buy cubase elements, and install it on your macbook alongside cubase pro, so you dont need to bring the dongle with you, unless you need the pro specific features.
