Use of Plug-ins tab, under Bitmeter tab

Hi! I am new to wavelab 10 pro.
I wonder what is the use of the “Plug-ins” tab on the up-left corner of wavelab’s window. It is always greyed and I cannot find any explanation in the manual.

It is enabled when a batch processor window is active.
