I upgraded from Cubase 5 to Cubase 10. In Cubase 5 I could connect Stereo Out or a group to an audio track as its input. That way I could record the sounds of say a VST plugin or the whole thing directly into an audio file. Why isn’t that possible in Cubase 10? As input only Stereo In or No Bus appears in the drop down menu of the audio track. What am I doing wrong? I almost can’t imagine that it’s a limitation of the Artist version as it is such a basic thing to do. So what am I missing here?

I was informed in the German forum that it’s only possible in the Pro version.
