Used automation is no longer visible after closing the lanes, you have to literally click ‘show all used automation’, instead of simply expanding the automation lane you were just busy with. I would love to know why this stupid logic was implemented this way? Also yes I understand that there is this nice new feature for seeing automation lanes for last touched parameters, but this is only helpful on the first instance where you want to start adding automation, but not very useful once you have recorded in multiple lines of automation and now must ‘show all’, in order to see the few lanes you wanted to see, simply 1 at a time. Workflow wise, this is a pathetic waste of time. Many paying customers want this fixed. Sort it out. Roll out an update that actually addresses issues that the users want, rather than all this Ai rubbish such as tonalic.
I see there are many forum posts and comments regarding this topic, but I am so frustrated about it, along with many other CB15 users, that I must create my own post in the hopes that Steinberg will actually tend to this ridiculously simple bug (if it’s not a bug, then it is worrisome for the future of workflow within Cubase and for the customer care thereof).
