Useful web tool for quick social media sound design references

I have been spending a lot of time lately pulling reference clips from various social platforms to practice my sound design and sync in Cubase. I found that most of the screen recording methods I was using resulted in variable frame rates which caused those sync issues we discussed in my other thread. I started using a simple web utility to grab the raw MP4 files directly instead which has made the import process much smoother. You can check it out here if you need a quick way to get clean video files for your audio projects. It has been a huge time saver for my workflow since I don’t have to run everything through a converter anymore.

Snack videos, only available in certain countries, for mobile devices. Watch out for copyright!

Thanks for the heads up on the copyright side of things! I definitely only use these as temporary timing references or “scratch tracks” to help align my sound design and I never include the original video in my final renders. It is mostly just a much faster way for me to get a clean file onto the Cubase timeline for practice and drafting rather than relying on screen recordings which always seem to have audio lag or frame rate issues.
