User pref.from 11 to 13

hi,just installed 13 pro,i also have 11 pro.
copied user preferences from 11 to 13 folder,but they dont seem to be in 13.
for example,return to start position on stop is my preference in 11,but it has not transferred over to 13.
any clues?

Hi,

Cubase is merging preferences of two major versions (of the same application i.e. Cubase Elements LE AI preferences and Cubase preferences) back. So Cubase 13 Pro is merging Cubase 12 Pro and Cubase 11 Pro preferences. Therefore you should get your Cubase 11 preferences.

But the area, you are describing has changed in Cubase 13. Might be, Steinberg forces a default setting, to prevent some issues.
