What is disruptive or important is highly subjective. If you don’t consider the side effects mentioned as such, good for you.

For one, record and monitor is disabled on a track with ‘No Bus’ selected (workaround doesn’t accomplish this btw) which is significant if for example, a user wants to use ‘Record All Enable’ or ‘Monitor All’ commands.
