Pedant here. But this kind of small error can break things, so here goes:
The initial slash / indicates the root-level of your boot drive.
The tilde ~ signifies the home folder of the account you’re currently logged in to, so it is redundant with “/Users/[username]/”. The correct path on Mac is either:
~/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico
or
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico
