Using Arranger Mode with dynamic looping/repeats

Hello, we use Cubase on stage in arranger mode.
Each element in the arranger list is assigned to a song. We then control Cubase remotely via a USB pedal. So far everything is working great!

Now we would like to have a little more flexibility to bridge pauses between songs with the help of loops or similar. These loops should be repeated until a ‘Last Loop’ command is issued. Then the current loop should be played to the end and then jump to the next element (song) in the arranger list.

As far as I understand you can set repeats in the arranger track only statically. And the ‘Next Chain’ command cancels the current repeat instead of playing it to the end. So unfortunately that doesn’t help.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we could implement our requirement?

Kind regards

Hi and welcome to the forum,

You can set the Mode to Repeat forever.

I know and we use this for our soundcheck loop.

But as far as I know it is not possible to jump from a loop that repeats forever to the next element in the list - or am I wrong?

You can. Just call the Next Chain Step function, please.

Hm, it seems that Next Chain Step is only working when the loop is not running. But that won’t help :frowning:

Please, see the attached video.

You are right. Now it is working. Maybe there is an issue with the click function of my mouse.
Thanks a lot for your help!
