Using Blackstar Live Logic with VST Live

Hi!

I am trying to trigger PC changes on the Blackstar Live Logic controller from VST Live in the same way as I can do from Cubase. The LL is then triggering changes on my POD and Eleven Rack.

The Live Logic controller is capable of MIDI over USB so in Cubase I can select Live Logic Inputs and Outputs (Live Logic MIDI Controller) for the Mid channel, in VST Live these ins/outs seem to be missing - se images below.

  • Any idea why and if I can fix this in some way?

That is weird. VST Live supports all MIDI devices following the MME MIDI protocol.
Make sure to have the latest software/drivers for your device, if any. We’ll try and see if we can reproduce the issue.
You can help by narrowing it in Cubase; if you set Cubase to other protocols but WinRT, then maybe your device is missing there too?

Hi!

Thank you for the reply.
Tried to disable “WinRT MIDI” in Cubase… but Live Logic Midi still there.

Got it to work anyway initially by using a MIDI input to my Motu hardware for the time being.

Then now suddenly Live Logic MIDI Controller is available in VST Live, but with an error message as below, even though it seems to work okay anyway.

So now it seem to work OK, don’t know what happened.
