I’ve been using Cubase in my studio, for the last ten years. I recently updated to 7.5 in a new rack mount PC computer. I want to be able to use this on stage to run vsts. Do you have any suggestions on how I would save the set ups. At the moment, I’m approaching the task by building different sounds for each track, using midi 1 for all voices, and muting the tracks as needed. It would be so much easier if there was a way of calling up each midi set up like an audio file. Can this be done? Thank you.
Have you looked at track presets?
I would also consider looking at setting up a template where you are filtering the midi input by channel using the input transformer. This would allow you to change midi channels on your controller and switch between the different midi tracks in a fast way.
