I have a recent change in my methods that I hope will prove useful to others. When transcribing written orchestral music onto Dorico I move Dorico’s cycle locators to clearly delineate the measures I am working on, something that is especially helpful in Galley view which has no visible page or other breaks. Of course, this also makes it easy to cycle the playback of the newly entered material.
