I am just wondering if anyone has tried running Cubasis 3 on a Samsung Chromebook(64-bit but no touchscreen) and a allen & heath Zedi fx10. From some of the forums I see people have had some success with previous builds but have encountered some difficulties with more recent ones but found some work arounds by using the on screen keyboard facility,

Version 3.8.3 does not work with the UR22C sound card. It sets an unchangeable 96 kHz, sometimes appears in the menu, and sometimes disappears for unknown reasons. It does not record anything! The advertised Bluetooth functionality is only available within the program. There is no Bluetooth headset recording!

The reported 96 kHz sample rate seems unusual, as Cubasis for Android typically operates at 48 kHz.

If you have access to the Yamaha Steinberg USB/UR software, please try connecting your UR22C and setting its sample rate to 48 kHz before reconnecting it to your Android device.

We have successfully used other UR-series interfaces (e.g., the UR44C) with various Android devices, so compatibility may also depend on the specific Android hardware and the manufacturer’s implementation.

Hello. I tried connecting the card to the computer and setting the driver to 48 kHz. It still didn’t work. The program sets the sound card to 96 kHz on Android when launched. If you don’t connect an external sound card, the project will be set to 48 kHz. However, the card doesn’t record or play back, regardless of the project settings. This seems to be related to my Android device. I use a HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026 PaperMatte tablet (12 GB + 512 GB) (HarmonyOS 4.3). For the sake of experimentation, I installed Cubasis 383 on a TecnoSpark Go 1 phone (Android 14). The problem is the same as described above. When connecting an external card, the project sets the sound card to 96 kHz. Nothing works on it, no matter the input/output. I would appreciate any further advice if this is the case with my devices. Does anyone have a UR22C external sound card that works without problems on Android?

Р.S. Oh, by the way, I ran the tablet tests. The device works fine in Oboe Tester, but not in Cubasis. I had to tweak some settings for the external sound card to get the tests to work. The recording level is low. I even got the Bluetooth headset to pass the tests, which works fine but doesn’t record audio in Cubasis. I found the right settings in Oboe Tester to get the recording working.

The UR44C works without issues with Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices on our end.

Hello, I will definitely help. I am currently conducting my own investigations. I have found out that the UR22c card does not support all TypeC cables in Windows 10. It is possible that there was a problem with the cable I used to connect the devices. I will write later and specify which tests you need to send.
