Using External Hardware in Cubase Artist 8.5

Cubase Artist 8.5

I will be getting an audio card with four outputs and four inputs.
Will I have any problem routing out to a hardware compressor and routing it back in?

How are we supposed to know…? Most will not, some will - depends solely on you and your knowledge and the used card.

Is Cubase Artist 8.5 capable of interfacing with external hardware?

It has inputs and it has outputs, so of courses. Just not as comfortable as the Pro Version concerning inserts for example.

External FX, which let you handle your external processors like a plugin.
