I’m struggling to work out how to route multiple sounds to their own individual output channels and have each output have its own midi notes. So for example I have 2 sounds loaded to Halion. I click on the mix tab in Halion and route sound 1 to the main output and sound 2 to output 2. Halion is using midi channel 1. When I enter midi notes then it only plays sound 1 no matter which notes I use. How am I supposed to enter midi notes for sound 2? The only way I can do this is to change the midi channel to channel 2 but then when I enter midi notes I can only enter them for sound 2. So how am I supposed to be able to enter midi notes for both sounds 1 and 2? It seems that I can only enter midi notes for only one sound at a time.
Don’t worry about it, I’ve solved it myself. So I just created a separate midi track for each Halion sound and then linked each midi track to it’s own output channel.
