I have a Pioneer DDJ SX 2 controller that I’d like to use as General MIDI input device: apart from a soundcard, it has assignable knobs, faders and pads.
Now, I managed to assign some knobs here:
devices–>device setup–>add general remote and map a knob using the learn function to one of the Pan Control Names.
some relevant parameters:
MIDI status: controller
Flags: Receive
I can control, for instance, Massive’s cutoff. However a few degree of turn results in the respective quickcontrol fader to do 1 complete cycle, which is not good. Note I used the top left FX knob which is not endless. If I use the tap knob, which works in increments and is endless, and set the Flags within Cubase to Receive and Relative, this particular knob works then fine. But not so the others…
Has anyone done this before and knows what the problem is?
