Using Powered Monitors with UR28M

I am using two Yamaha HS7 powered monitors with my URM28.

Do I have to configure the UR28M differently to use powered monitors (vs. passive monitors)?

To be clear I have the HS7s working but I have to crank them to 75% to get a decent level. This seems odd given that they are powered speakers.

I just disconnected the speakers from the UR28M and connected them to a music streaming unit (Sonos). The output is very good at 25%. I am running two 1/4 inch stereo cables from the speakers with the other ends being RCA which feed into the back of the music streaming hardware.

But as noted when i plug these sames speakers into the UR28M using 1/4 to 1/4 inch cables, I have to increase the output on the speakers to 75% to obtain decent volume. There must be a setting in the UR28M, perhaps in the software, that is limiting the speaker volume. Note the volume on the UR28M is set to over 50%.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Go into the control panel and check your output levels.
