Using Quicktime Player 7 or 10 with Cubase 7.5 (mac)

Basically I want to be able to use Quicktime Player, either 7 or 10, with Cubase 7.5 as an external video player, all in the same station. Is it possible on a mac???

I remember watching a video somewhere of someone doing it but on a Windows pc with an older version of Cubase.

As far as I know, Quicktime 7.7.9 is the only version you can use with Cubase. Look around, you can find this version.
