This is a function I’d like to request. It’s common in several graphics programs that holding Shift prevents any movement other than horizontal or vertical and there are plenty of times I’d like to move something in only one direction. Sure, I can use keys in most cases but not, for example, when wanting to move the endpoint of a slur vertically while maintaining its curvature. This is only possible by dragging with the mouse and it would be nice to be able to hold Shift to prevent any horizontal movement.
It’s on the backlog for future implementation, but I can’t say exactly when we’ll be able to add it.
