For some reason, when I rename tracks in the project window and hit the tab key, it goes to the next track without issue, but not in the mixer window. Is there something i’m missing?
edit : sorry I realize the way I typed it can be misunderstood - basically I would like to be able to rename the tracks in the mixer window directly and go to the next one using the tab key, just like it is possible to do in the project window.
I assume what ever you type on a track name is also reflected in the Mix Console?
I don’t think when you tab in the track list in the Project Page, that the track gets actual focus? If so, this is why focus does not change on the Mix Console when you tab on the Project Page track list.
What I would like to do is rename tracks in the mixer window and use tab to go from one to another, just like you can do in the project window. I tend to use the mixer window much more

I have never tried that, but I don’t think you can do that. I think it has to originate from the Project Page track list, and then it’s reflected in the mix console windows.
I’ll check tomorrow, or someone else hopefully will let you know for sure.
