Using the eraser for several layers simultaneously?

So, at the moment I’m recording some of my music in a church. In the recording there are some inevitable click sounds from the organ pedals.

It seems to me that the eraser in Spectralayers only work when you’re working with one layer at a time, i.e when all the other layers are muted. When several layers (that is, several tracks) are on top of each other in the spectral display nothing happens when I try to erase the noise. It’s absolutely great when I only work with one layer but it’s very time consuming if I have to repeat the same process with every track.

I would really appreciate if someone could tell me if there is a way to make the eraser work for all layers simultaneously.

I just realised I have to merge the layers into one layer! Don’t bother about my post.

I suppose I have to do this as the last step in the mastering process then.

What if you select those layers you want to edit in the right hand side Layers panel, while holding the Shift key, and then start erasing?

What do you know! That worked as well. Thank you. I started working with Cubase a month ago and it seems that I still have some way to go before I can use it fluently.

@Guttenor , as @Marshall says with shift
Or Ctrl (win) to select non-adjacent layers
This feature to edit multiple layers at one time was new with the launch of SLP12
