USING VST DIGITAL PADS/KEYS-NOT RECORDING

Hi there im having trouble recording sounds from the built in synth using the pads/keys on the pop up instrument display.

I can hear it sounds and they are registering but not recording.

If i use the virtual keyboard(ALT K) it will record. just wondering why it does not record with the pads/keys.

This is the same with other plug ins. if i use the ALT K virtual key board it records, but if i click using the mouse on the pads…no luck

Hi and welcome,

You cannot use the virtual keyboard of any VSTi to send the MIDI data to the track. Use Cubase virtual Keyboard, Computer Keyboard or any MIDI Keyboad, please.
